The tricky part is removing the shift ****. You do that by using a pair of needle nose pliars to pull out a c-clip on the back side of the **** about 1/3rd of the way up from the base. It just pulls out and then is pushed back in place to reattach the ****. Then just locate the screws which hold the console in place and remove them. I believe they all located inside the staorage area but I may be wrong because it's been a while since I had mine out. Disconnect the gear indicator light quick connect and lift the console out.

The e-brake is bolted to the floorboard, but you should be able to remove the center console w/o removing it.

Not the best pics, but the e-brake wasn't what i was aiming for.
The console just takes a little finese to get out. I think there's tabs or clips up by the dash that it slides into. Two bolts in the center console and I think there's one or two more, maybe one in the ashtray.
