Default Paint Exhaust Tips?

I have an 02 Z28 and I just had a magnaflow muffler put on it (which i LOVE). The muffler made the tail pipes stick out from the car farther than stock and now you can really tell that all of the factory paint is chipping off of them.

I'ld like to repaint them and got some good high temp paint to do it with. ANything will look better than they do now. anyone ever try this?

Yeah sure! I put some paint on my friends LT1 Z. just be sure to clean the tips with some steel wool or something. After that get some simple green or other cleaner and get them clean before you shoot 'em. Although, you could go back to the muffler shop (if you didn't put it on yourself) and ask him to cut like an inch out of the pipe mid-section. They are always nicer if you have been there before, he might even do it for free!
