The other day I parked at a friends house and when I walked around the car I noticed the passenger "Trans Am" emblem was gone! Do these things just randomly fall off? Anyways, im taking the other one off. I know that you need a heater or something and some fishing line, but should the paint be fine?

sons of bitches!!! ....just heat it up real good and peel it of the paint should be good, then just top it off with some polish/wax

Yes, they do fall off. I was washing the soap off my 'bird last Summer, and the "T" and "r" on the passenger-side just fell off. I wasn't even spraying it very hard. Luckily, it happened in my driveway and not on the road somewhere. I just crazy glued them back on.
