Spider Crackings?!!?!
I just bought my car, and i'm **** about keeping it look nice
I just noticed today, granted i had my face right infront of the bumper, but on the front bumper and the bottom of it, there is a spider web'ing in my black paint!!!
anything I can do to fix this?
even though it probably isn't noticeable...i know its there

Being a former body/paint man (which makes me **** about paint too), the only way to stop the spider webbing on urethane parts is to strip them down and refinish them. You could DA the area and repaint it but to effectively get rid of the problem it really needs to be stripped. The GM primer is notorious for poor adhesion on urethane parts, and just poor in general. Most of the time I found that the urethane parts on most GM cars were not treated or prepped before factory painting. I always used impact additive to my primers and paints when dealing with urethane parts that were painted. If you let it go it will only keep crawling and eventually start to peel or flake off. By the way GM does not warrant any paint on urethane parts.
