Default Need an opinion on what color to paint my Caliper Brackets

i polished the brackets along with my calipers and they held up fine with just clear coat and as soon as I zoop sealed them they rusted. My other question is would i have to sand them down really good to have the primer and paint stick?

Paint them SOM. Someone either on this board or LS1.com did that and it looked really sweet. I painted mine the same as the front of my car

I would paint the caliper brackets a glossy black and the calipers SOM.
I painted my caliper brackets SOM and the calipers are power coated red. Makes the caliper stand out more.

Zoop seal will not stop steel from rusting.. sorta late to tell you this, sorry

Mine looked good in dark charcoal metallic grey and it doesn't show up brake dust much.

SOM the brackets, then do the calipers a gloss black w/ SOM "Trans Am" or "WS6" on 'em. That way it doesnt seem like its too much SOM, its a subtle change that can still catch your eye.
