Clay bar and NXT question

Default Clay bar and NXT question

Im in the process of claybar'ing and waxing my car, how many coats of NXT do you guys do after your done with the claybar? also once i run out of "claylube" what should i use for next time to lube it?

I'm sure guys that are more experienced are gonna chime in here, but I just used 1 coat of NXT. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to do more than 1, but it's not like Zaino where you can apply it over and over again on top of each other after every wash.

When I ran out of claylube I just went to the auto parts store and bought another bottle.

Generally, you can use any quick detailer as a lube for the clay. A cheaper alternative is a capfull or two of car wash and water in a spray bottle.

As ritz said, NXT has some cleaners in it, so usually any more than two coats is pointless as you'll simply remove the previous coat.
