Default After wet sanding decal application?

After I wet sand the rear light center panel, im supposed to polish it to a deep shine, but im putting decals on it to replace the old faded red paint. Should i apply the decal first then polish? Will polishing first cause the decal to not stick as well?

polish it first, then clean it up and apply the decal.

Decals will typically adhere better to a smoother finish.

yeah, definitely polish it first. if you polish it after the decals are applied a small amount of polish will start building up around the edges of the decal. it will look bad.
