Default Corvette (C5) door mouldings

How hard is it to remove the door molding strip on C5 Corvettes? Are there any holes to fill or is it just on with adhesive. I think they look way cleaner without the moulding, and if I'm considering shopping for a C5 I want to make sure I have the option of removing the moulding, or getting a car without it in the first place. Just figured I'd have more options if it were easily removed. Thanks.

Thanks for your input. Can anyone else verify this?

Yep 3M tape. Just like the camaros and the firebirds. Use a hair dryer and some fishing line and they will be off in no time.
