Has anyone tried putting 1st gen Camaro badges or Chevelle SS badges on their 4th generation SS?

I am painting my rear panel black, I have the stainless inserts for the Camaro and now I'm trying to decide on the emblems. I may use a red plastic bowtie again and was considering stainless steel SS or possibly a Camaro or Chevelle SS emblem. Anyone tried this?? The one thing I don't know is the size of the emblems.

i'd say it would work, call yearone or original parts group, opgi.com for measurements. they have all the ss logos, but don't list a size on the web.
