Default Grill setup

I just bought a 2000 SS, what would be the best grill setup if i had to have a front license plate? I live in Nebraska and we have to have them. I ran around with my Tahoe for a few months without one when i changed the front bumper, but i finally got pulled over.
And if anyone has any pics of their setup with a license plate that would be much appreciated.
I have also heard about a electronic retractable license plate bracket, that is a great idea, if anyone knows anything about it please let me know!
Thanks!

There's hardly any way to get around it here in Nebraska unless you want to spend big $$$ for a retractable plate. I got pulled over before also, I just gave in and put it on.

I bought my car out of state and was disappointed when it was already drilled for a plate up front...
