Default Decals going on - remove wax?

I bought some decals recently (Thanks Tony!) and I'm getting ready to get them put on - do I need to strip the wax off the paint first?

Thanks!

yes. the decals won't stick, or at least won't stick well, with wax on the car. make sure to take it off.

Dish soap works great for removing wax. I've used Dawn dish soap in the past.

Yeah, I heard that story. I'm going to contact a guy that used to do decals and signs and stuff and offer beer in exchange for labor (Stephen, if you're reading this, yes, I mean you!! I'll contact you when I'm more sure on when I have free time)

Teri, a PM with an estimate would be good, too - if paint is a good deal I may just resell these for what I paid for them! should have asked that first, I guess

If I remember correctly, they're the manta decals for the SS hood.

rubbing alcohol works really well as decal prep.
