Default Where to get hood hinges for VFN sunoco hood?

I put my sunoco hood on the Z the other night and the stock hinges have way to much pressure to try to close the hood, where they mount to the hood you could see the fiberglass bowing so we took them off. The stock hinges are 23" long with 85lbs of pressure so what i need is a stock length hinge with around 20lbs of pressure?

What is everyone using on your VFN hoods?

I am using the stock hardware. Just open and close slow and carefull. Not a problem for me. Also I have had the Sunoco hood the longest and no problems.

Don't you mean the hood struts? I'm running stock mounting on my VFN hood too and it's fine.

You could take one of the struts to an auto parts store and they may be able to match one for you with the same dimensions, but with less pressure...

I tried that with no luck. Armondo?? told me that the hood may need more time to cure out some then try to close it again with the stock "shocks" and it should be fine.
