Thumbs up Shift boot and plastic holder GM part #

Well I know Im on my seceond boot, and my second holder. And since everyone breaks them (usually) I would post the GM part #. I just ordered this and its the whole boot with the plastic holder already attached, I believe it was $30 shipped from GMPartsDirect.com.

Part #: 10271369

I assume this is the black boot and holder? I've been looking for this as well.

...ask my 65 C10, that shifter was so loose it made prostitutes look like virgins! it was so bad that I put it in 4th SO many times and tryed taking off peeling out,... and the sad thing was it would!! so i'd be running down the street taking off and then when i was about to shift, i had no more gears! (4 speed with huge gears in the rear) the fun thing about having a stick was I was able to peel out threw all 4 gears, THAT was funn right there!

Thumbs up

The retainer part number is: 10271371

I've got an aftermarket leather boot in my car from Afterthoughtsauto.com & it looks great and is a perfect fit. Looks ten times better than the pleather one from the factory IMO. I can snap a pic for you if you like.
