Mod Painted 10 Spoke Aluminum Wheels?

Mod Painted 10 Spoke Aluminum Wheels? I since I have these just sitting around my garage I thought maybe I might try to give these wheels an appearance update.
I need some Ideas. The lip is scratched on all of the wheels, so I figured I can try to refinish those.
Some Ideas I have had were to strip all of the paint and try to polish the wheels (very labor intensive), or to give them the 35 Anniversary LE treatment.
I thought about chroming.... but I really like the look of polished aluminum over Chrome.... so if I am going to go the bling route I will polish them.......
any thoughts or pics of someone else that has traversed down this path?
