I have a new raptor hood that is going on in Jan, and I wanted to paint the inserts. Can they be removed? Thx.

I'll definitly have pics I'm waiting until January to put it all on though when I get the rest of the car painted. I think it will look pretty good with the rally bird and raptor hood, what do you think?

no the inserts can not be removed, ive had one on my car for almost 5 yrs now and the only problem i had when i was putting it on was i had to make spacers for the latches because they would not clear the front bumper.

That sucks. They don't make the paint in the color I wanted to use except in spray cans. Oh well I guess.

Thx for the help.

Really they dont make the color? Wow, you may want to go to a paint distributer shop and check out their colors. The paint distributer shop here has just about every color you can think of and they can mix their own paint. I have the raptor hood and the vents are painted the same color as the car, i think it looks real good. Definitly dont go spray paint for the vents! It looks nice at first but after time it starts to flake off and looks like ***! By the way nice car man!

I appreciate the compliment on the ride. Do you have any bigger pictures of the one with the raptor hood. That looks awesome !

Nope, they're molded into the hood itself. I had mine painted black on both of my cars that had Raptor hoods. Personally, this is the last Raptor car I'm ever gonna own, in fact I'm probably going to take the hood off. Too many fit issues for my taste.
