Default Xzilon for fading headlights??? Help!

Hey everyone I have a problem/question...

I have a white WS6 and the paint looks great (when its not covered with slush), except I notice the headlights are not as bright a white as the rest of the car. I wax this area twice when I do wax the car and it still seems to not work. I work at a Ford dealership (sorry) and they use Xzilon/Xzylon for some of the vehicles, does anyone have experience with this stuff? A guy there said it will definately protect the car from fading, but you lose some of the shine that comes with waxing. Is this true? I was thinking of putting the stuff on my wheels, glass, and headlights to keep them from fading but not taking the shine away from the rest of the car. Anyone have suggestions/comments? Thanks in advance!

Xymol? It's just an expensive wax/polish/whatever.

As for the headlights, once they start to haze, you will have to use a plastic polish to get it shiny again.

You can get plastic polish kits from most of the online detailing stores.

Xzilon is an expensive sealant, wax/polish/other crap isn't supposed to stick to it. But you think plastic polish will get it just as white as the rest of the car? I was thinking about the white Turtle Wax, just dont know how good it works. Thanks,

Brew

I get the Xzilon for free so its not like cost is a problem there.

I believe Brews is reffering to the outer part of the headlight (painted part). Not the headlights themselves.

It could possibly be that they were painted from a different lot of white paint since the parts are painted seperately. Also, remember that the headlights are the only metal part on the front end of your car. The front bumber is plastic, the hood (WS6 I'm guessing) is fiberglass, and the fenders are a composite as well. Because of this, the coloration will be slightly off as well. Just tap on each part and you'll see what I mean, the headlight covers will 'ting when you tap them, everything else thuds.
