Ah just leave it primer grey. Then its a true fast intake lol.

a lot of people have, but painted it looks pretty much the same as an ls1 or ls6 intake (if they sand off the letters) so search for that. and its "their" not "there"

I sanded off the lettering, smoothed it, filled the fuel rail crossover, and had it sprayed with BMW black sapphire metallic:
