Default detailing the car...someone help(new at this)

i have washed my car befor but never all out got all out of the paint that i can...

heres the products i have(for the paint)

Mothers claybar
NXT car wash
NXT wax

now what steps should i take with these to get the best outta the paint...and should i pick up so more product as well?

don't push hard with the clay bar and make sure the car is well lubed.... otherwise you'll scratch the paint
Actaully I don't know if I scratched the clear coar or if I just got all the wax out of the swirl marks but it looked like more swirl marks after I clayed mine.

You'll want McGuiares Polish. #7 I think.. deep gloss. Give it 3 layers of that but allow for time for them to "soak in" between coats.. 30 min give or take depending on temp. Then top it off with the NXT wax.

It better if you the clay bar when the car is soked with water and soap. And then slide the clay bar across the car. Works better than the lube.

What CashMoney said, make sure to pick up some polish. Definately read alot on these forums and you'll pick up some great information. Oh and don't be afraid to spend an entire day cleaning your car, it's worth it!
