Default exhaust stain

ive got a white ram air with magnaflow bout to be changed out for borla. anyways over time there is this black spot on the back of my car on the drivers side. basically the tail pipe was pointed up and now this spot is there. how can i get if off? and kinda sand paper like 4000 grit or some sorta wax. hope this isnt too confusing.

try a clay bar first, then get out the sand paper
