One of my cousin's friends offered to sell me his ss hood but he isn't sure of the manufacturer. Is there any way of knowing who makes the hood? Will an American Sports Car Design or RK Sport hood be stamped with a company logo or name?

I just want to make sure it isn't one of those knockoff hoods from ebay.

I don't know. You can check to see if it is fiberglass or SMC by looking for a SMC stamp. If it is SMC, at least you know that it is not cheap.
