Default Making sure I'm using orbital polisher right.

I did this to my DD before touching the SS to make sure I did it right.

I used Sonus pads.

Yellow-Meguiars Scratch-X
white- Meguiars #7 Deep gloss glaze
Blue- NXT
microfiber bonnet- Take the wax off.

On the SS since there aren't many scratches I was going to up a pad
I.E. white-scratch X
blue Gloss Glaze
micro fiber bonnet to apply and take off the NXT

Overall the DD's paint was bad.. looks halfway decent now.

Actually now After reading the directions it says its bad to use diffrent products on the same pad.. I'll just leave out the scratch x the glaze and NXT should get out the light swirls.

Scratch X is meant to be used by hand, are you sure its ok to use it on a polisher? I'm pretty sure they have a product for that.

3m Perfect-It II works really well. I'd suggest that over Scratch-X. Although Scratch-X works decent, I think the 3M stuff works better.

I used Scrat-x on my DD (91 geo tracker) It worked alright paint is fubard and looks alot better but I've never gotten scratch-x to work by hand. I'll pick up some of that 3m stuff tomarrow and try it.

don't use scratchx with a machine, it will gum up quickly .. if you allow scratchx to dry, it can become very hard to remove .. if that happens, use a little QD and a microfiber to remove it..

#7 will not remove anything .. it has no cut at all .. it is simply a glaze, and not a very long lasting one. it is great for a day or two for a show .. that is about it

the NXT will take out some very light swirls .. if it doesn't.. then grab some #9, or the 3M
