Mine both work superb
Take the door panel off like your going to change the speaker.
There is a wire leading to the light, just above the switches.
I think the light is red in pontiacs, and white in chevy's, but im not sure.
Mine are both white
I've seen a thread on this before, I will try and find it, I believe it was on LS1LT1.com

they're white lights, "red tape" on door panel makes them glow red.
you will need to take the door panel off to get to them though.
take loose 3 or 4 bolts and door panel raises up and towards the front of car.

theres no reason whatsoever to take the entire door panel off to replace that bulb!!! Take out the 1 screw holding the piece surrounding the door handle (piece with the burned out bulb), pull out the power window/door lock/mirror piece, then slide off the first piece from around the door handle, replace the bulb, and thats it...

Both of these were burned out in my car. So when I was installing my other LED's, I cut those bitches off and put a 15Kmcd LED in place of each one.
