Default Satin finish STB

Well after taking the paint off my K&N plate last week Ive gon crazy and took the paint off my strut tower brace...



I used Aircraft paint remover and progressivly finer sandpaper..ending up at 1500 withe blue magic polishing compound..Ive still got a bit of work to do but I ran out of time....and beer!

Looks very nice. I like the "brushed aluminum" look, but now you've opened yourself up to some serious oxidation, so keep it polished and dry or spray some clearcoat on it. You can buy satin finish clearcoat from Eastwood I believe.

Good job, now just get rid of that red plastic loom that covers the throttle cable, etc
