Default How to paint the Autometer A pillar pod?

I am about to install the Autometer A pillar pod in my car and I was curious if anyone has painted the pod to match the interior of their factory color and if so what paint did you use to adhere to the plastic and any prep work required for a professional look. I did a search to no avail. Thanks

I went to a local paint store, they sold me this plastic prep cleaner in a spray can, you just spray it on, let it sit for a min, then hose it off, and dry, then repeat if all the oils aren't off. I did that 2 times, then I used the factory ebony color that came in a spray can for plastic paint. It looks perfect, just the right amount of dullness/shine and matches almost perfect, my orginal interior pieces have 7years in the sun, so I say it looks pretty close!

Go to a local paint store, they will have the books for the paint codes, etc, and should have it in a can ready to go.
