Default want to paint my I-pipe...what temp paint do I need?

I want to buy some paint from autozone or home depot and paint my I-pipe on my loudmouth. It is nasty looking. What temp black paint can I use to be safe and make it look good? I was painting the underbody with rustoleum but I doubt that its equipped for such temperatures.

thanks,

mikie

I have painted my muffler with 500 and 1200 degree spraypaint from autozone and it will eventually come off after around 6 months or so... If you are looking for something that you only have to do once it will probably have to be ceramic coated

I used VHT to paint my y-pipe. I have also used Rustoleum gas grill paint in the past...it leaves a nice flat black finish...
