Default paint question (tiny little particles)

after i wash my black SS the car looks great. but when i get my eyes a couple of inches from the pant and look very closely, i see little tiny specs of like dust or sand. no matter how much i wash that area, those tiny little particles stay in the paint. are these the particles that the clay bar will remove? i just bought the mothers clay kit.

Try the claybar. It should get all of it up.

there dust nibs, this is extremely common even in professional shops. you dont ever see them because before they return the car to the customer they wet sand and buff what was painted. that is the only effective way to eliminate dust nibs, fish eyes, and orange peel that are even in factory finishes.
