Question Can I save this?

Took off the front license plate holder and this is what's under it

I am not repainting the car any time soon and realy don't want to put the monster plate holder back on. What would be a good solution for patching this?

Best way to fix that is to prep it for paint and respray it. Unless you want to get some tape, apply the tape over it, then spray paint the tape black... but thats ghetto and you dont want to do it that way. Just do it once and do it right.

Either get the nose re-painted or put the plate holder back on. The plate holder might not look cool, but it looks better than that.

buy a bra, i know we all hate them, but since the car is black, the bra will almost be seamless.

OK, I decided to get the entire bumper cover sprayed at a body shop. What are the steps to prep it for paint? What grades sandpaper (need to take all the paint off where the spider web cracks are)? What should I use as filler for the deep scratches and screw holes?

Parbreak was nice enough to post a link to a forum with TONS of great information about painting and prep work. I'd start there.
