painting spoiler
I just got a Freedom Design spoiler from LM Performance.. I was going to get it painted, but some are saying maybe just try it on your own. I have done some painting, so Im not a complete n00b, but never painted anything like this.
Im just wondering if any of you (Im sure theres many) have taken the step and painted your own spoiler, or part. I would just like to know the steps involved, maybe some paint recommendations, and other other info I should keep into consideration. I want the paint to be gloss black to match my gfx (easier than finding bright green metallic for one reason), but I have my mind set on that.
Also, on an unrelated note, Ive heard you are supposed to fit/pre drill the spoiler before painting.. Makes sense, maybe to keep the paint from cracking. Thanks in advance for the help.
