Please Help!!!how Do You Remove The A4 Shift Handle I Need To Remove The My Shift Handle In My 2000 Ss So I Can Completely Remove The Center Console To Clean And Wire Some Nitrous Switches. Will Someone Please Let Me Know How Soon...i Know The Black Button Should Come Off, But How Do You Get The Handle Off Or What Do You Do???????????

the black button doesnt come off, on the front of the shifter you'll see a small almost staple....pry that out of there and it'll lift right off.
