Anyone have pics of this? Did you do gloss back or flat black?

First I did satin/flat black, looked like a chaulk board:



So, I re-sprayed it (and removed the emblems) Low-Gloss Black Duplicolor (can) spray paint:

I just scuffed it down with a scotch brite pad, cleaned it off with rubbing alcohol and sprayed it...

who makes this bumper black? is it PPG, Dupont, rattle can? Single stage or dual stage?

Im seriously thinking about doing this to my NBM. Are you guys using your stock panel or are you buying one from a junkyard? Id be skeptical on my painting skills to do it on the stocker.

i did mine by wet sanding with 400 grit sand paper, then primed it 2 times then hit it with 3 or 4 coats of dupli-color gloss black. well youve seen mine. took about 8 hrs.

The shop that did it said it was PPG paint, and the area was masked off, I did not buy a new panel. It took awhile before I found the "perfect" color. But I am more then happy with the result.
