clear corners
I'm thinking about getting some clear corners for my car off ebay but i've heard about some problems with them.
Apparently on the driver's side the bulb heats up too much and melts the housing?
Has anyone here had this problem and found away around it?
Thanks

Mine get a little fog every now and then but I live in CA so rain here is a rarity. 99% of the time they are fine so I didn't bother siliconing them. If you get a lot of moisture you should probably do it though.

Anyone experience problems with the bubs getting too hot? How did you over come this without turning off your DRL's. My OEM housing shows signs of the bulb melting the plastic or connector so i fear this on the clear corners.
I'm curious if anyone has used a ceramic [or similar] resistive load accross pwr and gnd to limit the current and reduce the dissipated heat of the bulb? Any thoughts? Thanks.
