Having my car painted, What do you think of this idea?
Okay, I'm having my car repainted right now, its a 02 SOM Z being resprayed SOM including the roof, with a Sunoco hood and SS spoiler being added. I'm having black hockey stripes painted in along with black accents on the sides of the hood cowl. It also has a black berger panel already done
My original thought is to have the stripes painted in without any lettering, hp numbers, etc.. where most people would put them in the front part of the stripe. I'm kind of thinking of having LS6 painted in as SOM on top of the black stripe.
A friend of mine and I were talking about the paint scheme, one suggested that the idea of having BMF (for Bad ***** *****) painted in where one would usually have the engine size or hp numbers in the stripe.
I thought it was funny at first, then that it would be kinda cool, but possibly kind of ricy or even very ricy. So, just to gauge I thought I would see what you people thought.
Too ricy? or would it be an original or kinda funny thing to do? This is a 7k paint job and transformation, kinda want to make sure its done perfect...

BMF sounds pretty dumb to me. lots of people know what it means, and there's always someone out there faster than you, no matter how B your MF is.
if you're curious, visit some local decal shops and have some cut while the car is in the paint shop. put them on, see if you like them. if you do, have them painted on. if not, you're better off than you would be if you just had them painted on there.

If you think you may ever change the engine (completely or in output), I would stick with something concrete like "Z28." That way, you won't risk wishing you could change something about that nice $7k paint job.

Nope, not gonna put BMF on my car, we had a couple of beers with possibly one too many, and somehow my friend thought that would be cool/funny. Its rice, and not even good rice, sorta like rice a roni type rice, the cheap rice and its not going on my car.
