94 wire mod question

94 wire mod question i'm doing the wire mode on my 94 z28. 94's only had one connector that you had to remove,or cut the wires and splice them together. well i cut them and am going to splice them. thing i wanted to ask was,each wire has a twin (meaning they are the same color. so does it matter which brown wire connects to which brown wire?
