Default Carbon fiber hood on your Maro, post up!

Thinking about getting a carbon fiber hood for my Z28. Its navy blue metallic, BTW. Paint is starting to flake off the OEM hood. Post up some pics if you got one.

If anybody knows where to get one of good quality, let me know.

herd the fitment was horrible on cf hoods.i was going to buy a cf ss hood for my z28 and paint it all nbm, but the leave the ss scoop cf until i herd about the fitment. i found a cf ss blister hood were jus the scoop was cf the rest was gel-coated, i think it was rksport, not for sure but check in on that, would look alot better than a total cf hood .imo

I've seen one on a red z28. I thought it was a regular SS hood in black primer until I saw it up close. I stopped and talked to the guy. One side, fitment was okay, the other, the corners stuck up quite a bit. He said he got it on ebay from some guy in Maryland. It seemed nice and light, but not the best fitment.

If it doesn't have an OEM fit, it isn't going on my car. I'll gladly pay a few hundred $$$ more if it is made better and fits better. Cheap aftermarket products suck and usually end up looking like shi-ite after a couple of years.
