Default Unexpected Photoshoot

Well it seemed as fate would have it that my car would blow a powersteering line, but the good news from this is that my friend travis (tbirdsumtin) had his camera and snapped some of the best pictures i have of my car. The last 2 are right before we left to go to myrtle beach for F-Body Week (the next day from the break down)

Looks great! Nice job on the pinstripe to divide the colors, could have looked ghetto with out that...

It's very different but very well done IMHO so I say it is spectacular

The wheels are a little plain for such a "look at me" paint job though... Maybe at least paint the spokes in a charcoal metallic (leaving the lip polished)

tbird31, is my name butthole. lol.

haha, and yea...it was kinda a fun day eh bud? from one "event" to getting stuck on the side of the road. and i WAS crawling in the grass.

just so you know, throughout the entire picture taking process I was messing with the lighting settings on my camera so none really turned out how i wanted them, just wanted to see what the best setting was.

i'd have to agree with everyone though, mitch's car looks great. i too think the wheels are a bit bland, he did have rebels but sold those to get these.

the wheels looked better on my car! hahaha!

I do agree that they look better on your formula...but they dont look bad haha. I might do something else with the wheels but ive had so much trouble trying to get a decent set of wheels on it im not going to mess with it now. Thanks guys...and travis i think your paint is a bit bland

You know, I've seen pics of your car a few times on here, but I've never thrown my $0.02 in about it. First of all, it's not at all my style. So, if i like it at all, that's really saying something.

The reason why I'm replying is because I think I've put my finger on what it is I think this car needs, or what it is that I don't like about it.

There is too much orange in front. It needs broken up with some black under/over the ram air inlets. Some type of stripes or something that ends without connecting to the black at the bottom.

Nice photos! Unique car for sure.

I have seriously thought about this, we have some dark metallic purple pin stripping we're going to play with a bit. The whole point of the 2 tone was to do something different from most especially with the choice of colors. I have thought about a blackbird type stripe a lot and will probably play with it some in the future, like you said to just break it up just a bit more. Wheels are another thing im going to keep working on and playing around with to see what i can come up with. Thanks for the compliment and the input, thats the main reason i put pictures up here is to get this kind of input whether you like it or not i appreciate the input. Im going to keep this car for a very long time and the basic layout of black and orange will remain the same, but a lot of details are going to change over time, i definitely want to repaint it and do a metallic or pearl orange rather than the flat orange like it is now but again, all in due time. Thanks guys
