Led ok this is what i would like to do. if anyone out there can help with info please do.
1. put LED lights in DL/turn signals. but i want to keep either the amber look or a good yellow look. (need to find leds)
2. either cover up side markers, and if i dont do that. then do led in side makers. (help with look)
3. ok i have a ta. it has the honny comb look. i would love to put an led in each of the comb holes. ( need to find led i like)
what do you guys think.
please help

1) 3157 swtichback tower led bulb
2) i cut new ones out of smoked acrylic and put "leds by the inch" behind them. have to be a little creative here, but work great.
3) 5mm led bulbs should do the trick, but its gonna be a ton of soldering and glueing. i can do it if you want me to.

1. Don't bother with the leds in the DRLs. I bought some for my car (not cheap ones either) and they are maybe 1/2 as bright, you will hardly even notice them. Especially when the headlights are on, they get really dim.
2. I have wled5 bulbs in the side markers on my car and work fine. Not as bright as normal bulbs, I'd say about 80% as bright.
3. There was someone on ebay once that made the whole taillight just as you described, but wanted $1k for them. Needless to say, they did not sell.
