i love mine,i was in the market for one since february then last month i got one off of ebay for $400 painted my car color and i was the only bidder,good things come to those who wait i suppose

Exactly.. yer car.. if you like it.. do it... screw everyone else.. everyones got an opinion.. i like it... to many people with z28s and crap go for the ss hood. . ultra z is a way to stand out without trying to make an ss clone. . it makes it yer own and unique. how many ultr z hoods do you see around? i dont think ive ever seen one... i say go for it if u want it

Love the look of the hood. You should get it is you like it!
For a strictly cosmetic upgrade, It is a little pricey for my taste. The air flow can't be that much better. Mine already sucks like a Dyson! The difference in heat-soak between my 99 Z and my buddy's 04 GTO is night and day. You could roast marshmallows under his hood. lol
Good luck in your Ultra Z hunt. After they stopped making the SAP for the GTOs, the prices went through the roof and even on eBay it was hard to find 'em.
