i do care what people think on the street, I think most of us do. That's why we come on here asking for everyone's opinion. Yea some of the things said in this thread are totally irrelevant. And the funny thing is that what we are talking about now has NOTHING to do with what I originally wanted to come from this thread. Sigh oh well, it's the internet, what do I expect lol

regardless of what other people will think when they see 400 hp, why would you put it on anyway? do you plan on not doing anything else to your car, or are you gonna change em up everytime you get it dynoed?

personally, im gonna wait till i make 700+ then ill put the advertised 320hp gm gave me

lol not sure yet, I think I'll get a Ported TB and UD crank pulley soon enough, then get a new tune, then badge it. Who knows yet, I'm random sometimes

Man it is your car do what makes you feel good ( I am surprised how many people think cars lose 60 some HP though the power train, I always thought 25-35 at the most depending on M6 vs A4.)

Post some pics of your car if you want peoples idea on where to put a badge. Almost everyones car looks different.

No, thats not what i was huh'ing about, sorry to not make myself more clear but what car manufacturer rates from RWHP?? ALL badging now a days is crank, thats what i would do the badging as (if i were to do badging). I plan on getting a little plaque for my interior with little **** like hp rating and stuff on it and im going to go by crank, no badging has ever been wheel power

I think the most natural place for power badges to go is on a WS6 or SS hood. I would only have at most 2 on the car on either side so if you don't do a different hood consider under the Z28 emblem on the side.

why would't you want to have 400rwhp and then when the average person thinks that its at the crank. then when you compleatly blow the average person away they learn some serious lessons. just my opinion though.

If you do badge it, I wouldn't badge it until your at 400rwhp..

Just seems semi-poserish to me..

I could see people who know what they are talking about just asking "400 hp eh?" and then having to be like "well, at the crank...."

Stop bringing up the C5 Z06 and GTO badges as an excuse, those are factory badges, they were put on from the fack-tor-e. Putting on some aftermarket horsepower badge on your car to impress people or not is gay as hell IMO and I think most people would agree. Also, theirs no way your going to lose 60 hp through the drive train with an m6 so the badge would be over rating your car which is EVEN MORE gay.

Oh yeah, and you can put the badge on your seat belt, that would be totally sweet with 400hp across your chest, and you should get a badge made of your stock cam specs and slap it across the rocker panels that would be totally badass, If I saw that I would totally **** myself.

^ actually the c5 z06 and gto badges do make a great comparison, but it's okay if you think otherwise, I really dont care either way. I love how people on the internet think its so much fun to hijack threads and state these random opinions that have nothing to do with that the threadstarter asked or wanted opinions about. If you want to share your hatred for "aftermarket" badges, then start your own thread and have fun
