I just painted my valve covers using the same paint you did, but i have not cleared them yet cause I am thinking of getting abear valve covers. As soon as I get my fast 90/90 I am going to have that painted. I am just tryiong to figure out if I should paint the intake black or pewter

i found out that the rattle can paint is "thinner" than a paint out of a gun... or its sprayed thicker... i found that if you keep going over the part to be painted fairly light at first you will notice that the whole peice looks "wet" you will see the paint spots blend in... thats what you want to get it smooth... and do the same with the clear... and wetsand the clear with a 1500-2000 grit and then reclear it one last time.... and BLING ;p
