Default Question about tint...air coming into cabin after tint job...

I got my windows tinted months ago, right after them being tinted i took the car to a body shop and they did some work on the rear 1/4 panels. When i got my car back, i noticed there was A LOT of wind noise inside the car. But my GF said, "i think its always been like that." So i ignored it and decided to live with it.

Well i took the gfs beetle for tint a week ago, and now her car has a lot of air noise inside.

Has this happened to anyone?
It's obviously the tint, anyone know why it happens?
Any possible fix besides removing the tint?

It's really fucken annoying so i want to fix it.
Thanks

Is the tint so thick its causing the window not to seal?? Never heard of that before. If both cars are doing that, then there is something up. Sorry no help

They may have pulled the window off its track to get the tint down below the lower window seal, lok and see if it's pulled out where it runs up the track by the rear view mirror

I have 5% tint and never had that problem...my friend has 2.5% on her t/a with no problems either. I believe those are the two thickest tints you can get. Like mentioned above I would go back and talk with the person who put it on.
