Default Intermittent HID headlight problem

I have the sealed beam conversion kit for HID headlights.
I installed them and everything worked fine, now months later the drivers side light just goes out.
The passengers side light is fine, nice and bright white/blue light. The drivers side, even when it does
work is a dull white/yellow color. It doesn't even look like an HID headlight. Someone who saw me
pulling into the neighborhood as they were leaving said my drivers side light was flickering on and off.

My question is what do you think is wrong? Bad bulb, bad ballast, loose wiring?

Swap the bulb from the driver side to the passenger side. If it works, you have either a bad ballast or bad ground/connections. Check for loose wires. If all the connections are good then your ballast is bad.
