C6 Shift **** Owners Ok so I went to my local GM dealership and order the **** it came in today, but it has this tab thing on the bottom of the ****? I thought these would go on a Stock style shift handel? any input?

stock C6 **** wont work (needs a thread pattern to screw onto the fbods). Cant remember where i got mine from off the top of my head but if u search for C6 shift **** it should come up.

I PM'd you the website that has them already modified for F-Bodies. Maybe they can help you. Or you can return it and buy theirs? What did it cost at the dealer? I don't know anything about the place. I just saw the link on here. If you do a serach the post I saw will pop up. (maybe) I detailed a new Z06 the other day and its got me thinking about getting one.

The shift **** will thread right on. The inside of the **** is plastic not metal so it threads right on. I went the extra mile and drilled and tapped the set screw that the C6 **** uses. It looks like the only thing that company does is cuts off the part where the set screw goes.
