Where to get a stylish looking tranny temp. guage?
I was considering getting a tranny temp. guage for my car so that I can moniter the temperature on the tranny and I was wondering where I could get a nice looking one at? I dont wont to over do it and look tacky with it, but I also dont want it to look cheap. The only one that Ive come across is the B&M one on Jeg's and Summit, but that guage looks like it goes in an old school car. I also want it to be accurate too and not be just for looks. I dont know exactly where I want to mount it, but Im thinking I want it to be fairly small. If there arent any that look good that are small, then thats fine, I just dont want it to be too big. Thanks

Need help finding a stylish tranny temp. guage.
Im thinking about getting a temperature guage for my tranny so that I can moniter the temps. so that I dont ever run into any over-heating problems. Whether or not I mount the guage in a noticable spot will depend on how it looks. Im looking for one that looks modern and that would go good in a late model car. ('00 Camaro SS) I dont want to over-do it and be tacky with it, but I also dont want it to look cheap and cheesy. I also want it to be accurate and not just for looks. The whole reason for doing this is so that I have a reading of the tranny temps. but then again I want it to look good since its going inside. The only one that Ive come across is the B&M one on Jeg's and Summit's site, but that thing looks cheap and would go much better in an "old school" car. Please post pics of you tranny temp. guage. Thanks

I got my autometer trans temp gauge from summit. Autometer carries all kinds of styles and they are some of the best gauges on the market.

Re: Where to get a stylish looking tranny temp. guage?
I just installed the autometer 2 5/8" electric gauge. I mounted it on the a-piller with an autometer sungle pod kit. I am happy with the look of the gauge. It ties in nicely with the rest of the dash.

Here is mine, the bottom one. I got the Carbon Fibre ones becuase I wanted them to match the gauge cluster. I think they look pretty good. Tranny temp isn't all that important unless you have an A4, but it still works. Only get electrical gauges, you can get 2-1/16" or 2-5/8". You'd be amazed how small and 2-1/16" are in real life, but it's the only one with a triple pillar. 2-5/8" have double and single pillars. I think the 2-5/8" come in full sweep also. Not sure.
The Cobalt and C2 are the best looking gauges, but mighty expensive!
