Default Here's some pics of my "NEW" 68 Camaro..

I'm kinda embarrased to post these, right after Steve's gone and bought a gorgeous 69, but here she is:

Engine:

Paint was just done. It's "Scarlet Red".. so I'm calling her Scarlet right now.
Car needs alot to get it to where I want it to be, but I have a couple extra bucks to spend right off the bat to get her going. Car needs new interior. Just new front seats, steering wheel, center console and kick panels.
Also, a some minor trim pieces here and there.

Right now the car is running some WELD racing wheels, and I really don't dig on them at all. So might be my first BIG purchase. Definitley going with some 18's, just don't know what kind yet.

And of course, later on, all the other upgrades... Big Brakes, gears, OD Transmission, etc. Maybe in a year or two I'll make some noise at some car shows again. With some luck and a whole lot of $$ of course.

Anyway, let me know what you think...

Jon

Nice looking red rocket. The engine bay is virtually naked! Nice blank pallet to work with.

Have fun!

BTW - it looks like your garage fell down around the car??? What's with all the stuff?

Not my garage. It's the garage of the previous owner. Kinda alarming, but the car is okay.

Jon,is a perfect project car, the frame, body and drivetrain is mostly done. Most of your work will be appearance and detail, the fun stuff. Nice ride.

Those are the wheels I like best for 1st gens. I think the wheels are perfect as they are period correct with a modern size. Great choice!
