Carbon Fiber Look

Carbon Fiber Look
I noticed that Steve 2000SS and a few others have a few of their interior pieces done it carbon fiber look, how? I love the look...
Do you buy aftermarket parts or do you get your OEM parts done?
I'm looking at doing:
Door latch cover
A/C - Heater vents
Radio Trim
Upper console
What does something like this cost?
Thanks in advance,
Bill

Re: Carbon Fiber Look
If I remember correctly Steve's parts were covered in real carbon fiber. I found a write up of how to create the "look" but the results haven't been that great.
I do know that you can buy carbon fiber look vinyl that doesn't look too bad. It's extremely difficult to apply to curved surfaces though.

Re: Carbon Fiber Look
You can get the RKSport kit like I did, real Carbon Fiber pressure formed in a mold of all the trim, door pieces and such....9 pieces total....made in Italy and looks outstanding, just installed mine, but still waiting on the center console piece....don't worry, I will be posting pics soon....the kit is $600....but it might still be on sale for $475 if you hurry....
