Default Hiding exhaust band clamps?

I've got a Corsa and just realized after a couple days that I can't stand those friggin' clamps hanging down. I should have walked my installer through more thoroughly (hindsight is always 20/20!).
How do you hide yours?

Yep, I just found out that he's tacked a small spot on each one on top. I guess he's going to have to knock it off and we may go with stang killer's method, weld it.
Stang Killer, was the car at MTI this past weekend getting dynoed?

If they are small tack welds you likely can carefully tap them apart with a chisel and nice hammer, or use a small grinder. I positioned all my clamps where you could not easily see them. This did require more difficulty tightening and loosening the clamps do the lack of space above the pipes but was well worth the effort. Don't skimp on tightening them thoroughly either so your not back under there 3000 miles later repositioning the pipes and retightening everything up.
