Fender Tabs? Remove?
Anyone ever cut the fender tabs off and use the pre drilled hole on the underside of the fender to mount. Mine were bent up badly and the metal is too weak to re-bend to shape so I thought I would cut the metal tab and plastic fender tab off and use the hole to mount them instead. This would remove these ugly bastards from site and would allow more clearance and prevent people from trying to lift on them. I will do it tomorrow, but just wondering if someone has already done this?

Re: Fender Tabs? Remove?
Just got around to doing it today, and it worked. I just drilled a hole through the hole that was already there from the factory. It is just plain metal beneath so i used sheet metal screw to secure (will get low profile screws tomorrow so they wont be as noticeable). To cut the fender tabs and metal tabs off i used a dremel with cut off disks. After i cut both i used a little black spray paint on the bare metal to keep it from rusting. Overall it turned out very well, and was very easy. Now i dont havr these hanging down for people to jack on, dont have them in sight when looking at it from the side, and dont have them to scrape, bend and break. If you have any questions let me know.
