Default cage question...

where are your rear bars welded too? i know the rear bars on the bolt in cage are attached at the seatbelt part right? any help or pics is greatly appreciated. i checked wolfe's page, and they have pics of where it goes to, but not underneath the plastic. thanks

I have a 8 pt chromoly roll bar. It was custom made by Alston Racing in Antioch Illinois. The rear bars are welded the flat area NEXT to where the shock towers are in back. The bars sit next to the factory interior panels.

That is where you are supposed to have them attach, both from a safety standpoint and from a structural rigidity standpoint according to Mike Ruth from Alston, who also sits on the regional NHRA rules committee. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
