Bad 00 SS

Steve, I just bought a brand new set of 18x9.5 chrome Z06 wheels from AFS. After having them on for about 3 weeks, I noticed that on the dish of the wheels (all 4, but one worse than the rest)...there is a rough-like white film on the dish...the dish used to be a chrome finish, still is, but not so on most spots of the wheels and especially all over the drivers rear wheel...I know u have had these wheels before, ne input on what the hell is going on here??? I use meguiars soap on these babies and I have a personal absorber for the outside of the wheels and for the inside of the dish. I clean/dry the dish each time I wash the car (every other day, cuz its a black SS)...please help me out in this matter, did u have ne spots on ur wheels being a bling freak...I thought u would know all about this...lol

No spots but mine were not AFS wheels.. by dish do you mean the rim or the plastic center caps? If a chrome polish dosent fix it I would send them back as defective..

There are pics on my website of the Z06's.. no film..

MadiceV8, they are going to give me a new set if I want, I just wanted to know if ne one else was having similar problems...

Steve, by dish, I mean the "dish." not the outer wheel or caps, the 9.5" width part for example.
