Just wondering what is the best year to get,what cars and trucks are they in.
Which one is the best........?

as with anything, each year seems to come with new improvements, so the newer unit, the more improvements-around 1999, they added a bolt in the 12 o clock position
a lot of 3500 trucks had them, some 6.0 2500 trucks had them
prices are all over the place-i paid $150 for a 2005 unit that had burnt clutches from a mech at a chevy dealer

www.car-part.com, then search for 2500 series GM trucks. Picked mine up for $600..
